The Agency Support Specialist is a key support role that serves as the first point of contact for clients and provides administrative and service support to our Personal and Commercial Insurance teams. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and route incoming calls for all agency locations
Assist walk-in clients and respond to general service inquiries
Process payments and assist with billing questions
Update and maintain client contact information in agency systems
Prepare ID cards, proof of insurance, and other client documents
Process lienholder/mortgagee updates and towing reimbursements
Support Personal Lines Account Managers as needed
Handle mail distribution and daily remittance
Attend team meetings, training sessions, and complete special projects as assigned
Maintain confidentiality and uphold agency standards and fiduciary responsibility
Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Typing/data entry experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with AMS360 or Agency Zoom preferred, not required
NC Personal Lines or Property & Casualty License preferred, not required
Education & Schedule
High school diploma or GED required
Full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
