About the Role

Your mission: connect standout food suppliers with the restaurants that need them by growing the Saltz catalog.

In this role, you will own the entire supplier lifecycle, from hunting and discovery in the field to fit-testing and final onboarding, acting as an expert who ensures every product on our platform meets the Saltz standard.

What you will be doing:

  • Proactively research, scout, and contact new potential suppliers and producers to expand the Saltz product catalog

  • Lead the journey from initial cold outreach (phone/email) through to analysis, negotiation, and final platform integration

  • Use internally developed tools to analyze and test both new leads and your current cohort of suppliers, ensuring they meet our logistical and quality requirements

  • Interface directly with the Marketing and Catalog Management teams to ensure new suppliers are promoted effectively during their launch phase

  • Create weekly status reports highlighting real-world results and recommend constant improvements to our sourcing systems

  • Work within a small, agile, and independent team, reporting directly to the Supplier Sales Lead

What you need:

  • Experience in sourcing and buying in the food industry (B2B or B2Retail)

  • Strong understanding of EU food supply industry (working with suppliers/distributors/producers)

  • You’re great at relationship-building and negotiation, turning first conversations into partnerships that last

  • Polish and English at C1 level

  • You have a high sense of ownership: you are proactive, accountable, and focused on measurable results

Nice-to-haves

  • German, French, or Italian at B2+.

  • Experience onboarding partners into a marketplace or platform business.
