Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm; Wednesday from 7:45 am to 3:00 pm

Location: High Point, North Carolina

Setting: In-home and in-school

Pay: $25 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team! This position involves working one-on-one with a client to support skill development, communication, and independence using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.

About the Role

As an RBT, you will provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You’ll work closely with clients to implement treatment plans, track progress, and support the development of essential life, communication, and social skills in a structured and encouraging environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision

  • Collect and record accurate session data

  • Support skill development and behavior-reduction goals

  • Maintain professionalism and positive rapport with clients and families

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to ABA and special education

Qualifications

  • Current RBT Certification (required) *40 hour training completed and pending exam is ok!

  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred)

  • Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology (preferred)

  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices (required)

  • Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques (preferred)

  • A background in special education, psychology, or a related field (beneficial)

  • Experience with high-aggression clients (e.g., teens with severe behaviors)
