The Role
To support our expansion, we're looking for an Administrative & Accounting Assistant to join our team. You’ll work closely with our Finance Manager, supporting day-to-day operations and serving as the key contact for our external accountant.
What you'll do
Assist the Finance Manager with daily accounting and administrative tasks (including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger entries, expense reports, etc.)
Act as the main point of contact for our external accountant, ensuring timely communication and proper documentation for tax deadlines and monthly closings
Organize and archive accounting and administrative documents
Support the preparation of monthly reports and data collection for financial statements
Help improve and digitize administrative processes and workflows
Who you are
You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar administrative/accounting role, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment
You have a solid understanding of general accounting principles and familiarity with Italian tax and administrative requirements
You’re comfortable using digital tools (e.g., Excel, Google Workspace); experience with accounting software is a plus
You’re detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
You have strong communication skills and can manage relationships with external consultants effectively
