Role Overview

We’re supporting a U.S.-based company operating multiple internal entities that relies on clean, dependable financial operations to run smoothly. This role focuses on keeping systems accurate, payroll timely, and financial data reliable for decision-making.

You’ll work autonomously, own your workflows, and collaborate remotely with U.S.-based stakeholders.

What You’ll Own

  • Keep financial data accurate and up to date across entities

  • Post and review transactions, ensure proper classification, and reconcile balances

  • Maintain clean general ledger activity and support close cycles

  • Produce recurring financial summaries and operational reports

  • Monitor balances, aging items, and variances

  • Flag inconsistencies and resolve issues proactively

  • Run payroll processes end to end with accuracy and timeliness

  • Maintain supporting documentation and records

  • Assist with compliance-related documentation and audit requests

  • Own accounting workflows inside the primary system used by the company

  • Ensure documentation, categorization, and reporting integrity

  • Improve consistency and organization across financial processes

Core Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in multi-entity environments

  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and GAAP

  • High attention to detail and follow-through

  • Clear written and spoken English

Nice to Have

  • Payroll experience

  • Strong Excel proficiency

  • Experience working with U.S.-based teams or companies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required)
