About the Company
Our client is a global WealthTech / SaaS company with operations across North America, Europe, and Latin America. As the company continues to scale, the finance team is expanding to support accurate financial reporting, billing operations, and revenue processes.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join the finance team. This role focuses on month-end close execution, billing operations, and contract management within a growing SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
Execute monthly close activities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Review general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
Manage customer invoicing and billing in accordance with contract terms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Review and track customer contracts to support proper revenue recognition and billing schedules
Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial reporting and management review
Investigate and resolve account discrepancies identified during the close process
Support revenue accounting processes and ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards
Maintain organized documentation to support audits and internal reviews
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or contract-based environment
Strong understanding of month-end close processes and general ledger accounting
Working knowledge of revenue recognition principles
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with contract review and billing operations is a plus
This role is hybrid within Mexico, with preference given to candidates located in Monterrey.
