Compensation

About the Role
We’re looking for a Workforce Strategy & Resource Manager to help us plan smarter, allocate resources more effectively, and deliver projects with greater consistency and profitability.
This role sits at the intersection of operations, workforce planning, and project coordination. You’ll partner closely with leadership across the firm to ensure the right people are on the right work at the right time while improving the systems, data, and processes that support those decisions.

What You’ll Do
Build and maintain capacity models across service lines and teams
Identify utilization trends and support adjustments to balance workloads
Support workforce planning decisions, including hiring, outsourcing, and resource redistribution
Help improve how we forecast demand and align staffing with business needs
Resource Allocation & Project Coordination
Coordinate staffing across projects to align skills, timelines, and priorities
Partner with team and project leaders to manage cross-functional resource needs
Improve scheduling and job assignment processes to increase efficiency and throughput
Support implementation of tools and systems that streamline resource planning
Project Budgeting & Performance
Partner with Finance and project leaders on budgeting and resource planning
Monitor key performance indicators such as utilization, realization, and project profitability
Identify opportunities to improve margins, efficiency, and delivery outcomes
Help ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Data, Reporting & Insights
Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting for:
Capacity and utilization
Forecast vs. actual workload
Project performance
Translate data into actionable insights for leadership
Support development of a reliable, centralized source of operational data
Process Improvement & Systems
Identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce manual effort
Support implementation of tools for scheduling, planning, and reporting
Help scale processes to support firm growth
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with Operations, Finance, HR, and service line leaders
Help resolve resource constraints with practical, data-informed solutions
Support and mentor team members involved in scheduling and coordination

What You Bring
5–8+ years in operations, resource management, project management, or workforce planning
Experience in a project-based or professional services environment preferred
Track record of improving processes and operational outcomes
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (forecasting, capacity planning, modeling)
Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, and coordination
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling, analysis)
Experience with reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI or similar)
Understanding of metrics like utilization, realization, and efficiency
Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
