Full Job Description
We are partnering with a high-scale consumer mobile app company behind a globally recognized product with 1M+ monthly active users.
They are hiring a Web Designer / Marketing Visual Designer to own and elevate all visual assets outside the core product experience, while working closely with the Product UI Designer on in-app surfaces tied to monetization and growth.
This is a creative, execution-heavy role, focused on applying an existing visual language across marketing, web, app stores, and in-app promotional surfaces. This is not a brand redesign role and not a product UX role. The goal is consistency, appeal, speed, and quality across every user-facing touchpoint.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Growth, Content, and Creative leadership.
What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Marketing and Web Visuals
Design website pages and landing pages aligned with the company’s existing visual language
Create marketing assets for campaigns, announcements, and promotions
Design visuals for paid and organic channels, including static ads and social thumbnails
App Store and Growth Assets
Create App Store and Play Store screenshots optimized for conversion
Design in-app banners, modals, and promotional screens
Support A/B testing initiatives by producing visual variants
In-App Commercial Surfaces
Design paywalls, subscription screens, and monetization-related UI (in collaboration with the Product UI Designer)
Support feature launches with supporting visuals that live inside the app but are not part of the core product workflow
Content and Platform Visuals
Design thumbnails, banners, and visual elements for a Netflix-style in-app content platform showcasing user-created content
Refine and elevate existing visuals currently produced by non-designers
Collaboration and Execution
Apply and extend the existing design system and visual language across platforms
Work closely with Product UI, Growth, Content, and Creative teams
Deliver high-quality assets quickly without sacrificing consistency or polish
What We’re Looking For:
Core Requirements
Strong experience as a Web Designer, Marketing Designer, or Visual Designer
Proven experience designing mobile-first visuals, not just desktop or print
Solid understanding of how design impacts conversion, engagement, and appeal
Strong proficiency with Figma
Experience designing for consumer brands, apps, or products
Very Important Context
This is not a “jack-of-all-trades” role, but it is cross-functional
You are not reinventing the brand or visual language
You are applying, refining, and elevating what already exists across many surfaces
Style and Taste Fit
Strong sense of modern consumer app aesthetics
Comfortable designing for playful, accessible, non-professional users
Visual references closer to Canva + Duolingo, not traditional SaaS or enterprise software
Nice to Have
Experience working with mobile apps or app store assets
Experience supporting growth or monetization teams
Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools or interest in experimenting with them
Soft Skills That Matter
High ownership and autonomy
Strong execution and follow-through
Ability to translate creative direction into finished assets independently
Comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders without heavy management
Practical Details
Fully remote role
Long-term engagement
Reports into Creative leadership
Works closely with Product UI, Growth, and Content teams
