Job Summary
The Full-Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the client web application and its data-driven user interfaces while also ensuring the architectural integrity, performance, and reliability of the platform. This role oversees end-to-end development efforts, frontend, backend, and infrastructure alignment, ensuring all work supports the product vision, business priorities, and existing AWS architecture.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain frontend features, dashboards, and data-driven interfaces using ReactJS and related libraries.
Own the backend architecture design and implement services across AWS Glue, Redshift, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SQS, and Cognito, ensuring smooth integration and data flow.
Work closely with the Product Manager to interpret user stories, UI/UX references, and acceptance criteria, translating product and business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
Collaborate with backend services and APIs—connecting endpoints, validating data flows, and ensuring high reliability across the stack.
Participate in grooming sessions, raising potential risks, dependencies, or trade-offs early in the process.
Handle component-level testing, UAT validation, and quality assurance tasks in the absence of a dedicated QA role.
Support both DevOps and frontend efforts by providing architectural context, verifying environment setups, and ensuring consistent system behavior.
Monitor and optimize frontend and backend performance, including rendering large datasets from Redshift/Glue and improving system responsiveness.
Maintain documentation in Figma and Confluence, covering UI specifications, data pipelines, architecture, and system interactions.
Oversee release readiness, code reviews, and technical quality, ensuring stable and well-documented deployments.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
Senior-level backend expertise in Python, including API development, Lambda functions, and Glue-based ETL scripting.
Strong ReactJS and modern JavaScript experience, with the ability to build data-driven UI components and reporting interfaces.
Deep knowledge of AWS native services, including Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and API-related services.
Experience leading or guiding distributed engineering teams, establishing coding standards, and maintaining visibility into progress.
Ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, translate requirements into technical solutions, and drive predictable delivery.
Comfortable working independently with limited guidance, while also supporting peer reviews, manual testing, and cross-functional communication.
