About the Role:
Flxpoint a profitable fast growing SaaS company with offices in Jacksonville Florida, and team members worldwide is scaling its ecommerce automation platform and expanding deep integrations across major ecommerce, marketplace, and ERP ecosystems. We're hiring a senior-level, hands-on Principal Integrations Engineer to architect, build, and optimize high-impact integrations that power order routing, inventory sync, catalog automation, and vendor connectivity for hundreds of online retailers.
You will own complex integrations end-to-end, help define our connectivity strategy, and influence the technical direction of our integrations platform.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain ecommerce, marketplace, and ERP integrations (API, EDI, file-based)
Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of existing integrations
Collaborate with Product, Solutions, and Support teams to define integration requirements and deliver robust solutions
Establish engineering-wide best practices for integration design and development
Mentor other engineers on integration architecture, data modeling, and API/ETL workflows
Troubleshoot and optimize high-volume catalog, order, and inventory workflows
Contribute to evolving our internal Integration Platform tooling, connectors, and adapter strategies
Requirements
5+ years of experience building ecommerce integrations (APIs, webhooks, ETL, SDKs)
Strong Java development skills
Hands-on experience with platforms like Shopify, Amazon, BigCommerce, Magento/Adobe Commerce, and NetSuite
English fluency at a C1 or C2 level
Time zone alignment with EST
Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling high-volume product catalogs (10k to 1M+ SKUs)
Familiarity with job queues, distributed systems, or event-driven architecture
Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, GraphQL, REST, webhooks, and rate-limiting strategies
Experience with EDI formats (850, 855, 856, 810) or supplier-side B2B integrations
Strong debugging skills in complex, real-world data environments
Mentorship or team leadership experience

You independently ship a complex integration from architecture to production
You establish scalable patterns for adding new integrations
You become the internal SME on ecommerce APIs and integration strategy
You improve performance and reliability across high-traffic integration flows
