Role Overview

As Chartis continues to expand its impact as a leading healthcare strategy and advisory firm, we are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Technical Talent Acquisition Manager to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the firm’s future by identifying, engaging, and securing exceptional technical talent. This individual will have a key role in setting up technical hiring infrastructure and the opportunity to hire initial critical roles within a new product development and technology organization.

In this role, you will partner closely with firm leadership to lead full-cycle recruiting for technical experienced hires across all levels. You will combine market intelligence, technology search expertise, and a deep understanding of Chartis’ mission to build a pipeline of transformative talent to accelerate the firm’s growth. From defining hiring needs to crafting compelling outreach strategies, and from assessing candidate fit to guiding final offer negotiations, you will lead a high-touch, relationship-driven process that reflects the firm’s values of excellence, collaboration, and impact.

Responsibilities

Technical Recruiting

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for cross-enterprise technical talent including Software Engineers and Product Managers for our Product Development division

  • Partner with firm leadership to define hiring needs, role specifications, and success profiles for mid-career to senior-level candidates

  • Build and manage a high-touch candidate pipeline by leveraging technical search methods, industry mapping, direct sourcing, and targeted outreach

  • Assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and leadership potential through structured interviews and evaluation techniques

Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders on engineering and product hiring strategies

  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to leadership, including compensation trends and talent availability

  • Facilitate hiring committee discussions and present candidate slates, assessments, and recommendations to decision-makers

  • Manage sensitive negotiations around compensation packages and onboarding terms in alignment with firm policies

Talent Strategy & Market Development

  • Represent Chartis externally at industry events, networking forums, and professional associations to strengthen employer brand positioning

  • Partner with Marketing to enhance Chartis’ visibility in the talent market

  • Monitor competitor activity and talent moves to proactively identify and engage high-potential candidates

Process & Operational Excellence

  • Deliver a best-in-class recruiting process tailored for technical searches, ensuring confidentiality, rigor, and alignment with firm values.

  • Partner with Legal and HR to ensure compliance in hiring practices, contracts, and executive onboarding

  • Leverage and continuously optimize our Applicant Tracking System (Ashby) to streamline recruiting workflows, improve candidate experience, and enhance reporting and analytics

  • Collaborate with internal HR and People teams to ensure smooth transition and integration of senior hires into the firm.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive technical recruiting and sourcing experience, with demonstrated success hiring Software Engineers (AI/ML, full-stack, cloud-native systems engineers) and Product Managers (Product, Technical PM, Platform PM, Growth PM, etc.)

  • Experience leveraging AI-driven recruiting and candidate assessment tools to enhance sourcing, screening, and hiring decisions.

  • Mix of agency and in-house recruiting experience at a technology-driven organization, supporting mid-career to senior-level roles

  • Professional services experience is a plus

  • Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, modern tech stacks, and product organizations

  • Demonstrated ability to engage and close passive technical talent

  • Strong research and candidate generation skills, with the ability to generate a high-quality candidate pipeline; fluent in social recruiting tools including LinkedIn Recruiter

  • Outstanding written and verbal communicator; able to clearly and passionately articulate the Chartis value proposition and listen exceptionally well

  • Minimal travel required (e.g., quarterly firm meetings industry events)

Salary range: $120,000 - $143,000 plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs. In addition, Chartis offers several benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, disability insurance, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, wellness stipend, and additional voluntary benefits.
