Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced marketing executive to play a strong leadership role within our broader integrated marketing team. This role will report to the CMO and partner with our lines of business (LOBs) to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance the firm's visibility, attract potential clients, and drive business growth. The scope of this role includes oversight of LOB marketing and sponsorships and events, as well as serving as the marketing leader for Chartis’ AI & Technology Division.

The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative and both a strategic thinker and doer who can build on our existing marketing foundation and help fuel Chartis’ next stage of growth.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CMO to develop strategic marketing plans that accelerate the Charis enterprise and its LOBs toward their objectives and growth ambitions.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the LOB marketing team, providing guidance and direction in the development of marketing programs that align with LOB growth objectives, including messaging, content creation, digital marketing initiatives, traditional marketing efforts, sponsorships, and events.

  • Lead marketing plan development and execution for Chartis’ AI & Technology Division.

  • Build and nurture relationships, acting as a strategic marketing advisor to key stakeholders, including LOB and practice leaders, Consulting Operations team, Business Development, partners, industry associations, and other industry influencers.

  • Use data-driven insights to identify trends in buyer behavior, optimize marketing performance and execution, and measure ROI.

  • Make recommendations for investments in tools, resources, and channel relationships to advance our growth goals and achieve operational effectiveness.

  • Stay up to date on marketing best practices, technologies, and tools used by world-class marketing organizations, bringing forward fresh ideas and insights to strengthen our marketing function.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Previous experience in a consulting or professional services firm required.

  • 12-15+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles.

  • Understanding of consulting service lines including technology, strategy, and transformation

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth, ideally within a line of business.

  • Deep expertise in integrated campaigns, digital marketing, and content strategy.

  • Experience in managing sponsorships and planning/executing events.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong storytelling and content skills; able to shape executive-ready presentations, narratives, and collateral.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.

  • Ability to be flexible, work in ambiguous situations and adapt to changing business requirements.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience managing complex initiatives and developing high-performing teams.

  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and CRM systems.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

Salary range: $160,000 – $213,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs. In addition, Chartis offers several benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, disability insurance, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, wellness stipend, and additional voluntary benefits.
