Full Job Description
We are looking for an automation-minded engineer who can bridge IT operations and AI innovation to help eliminate day-to-day friction by building AI Agents and designing AI solutions for internal teams.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who loves to experiment with emerging technologies and transform ideas into practical, automated solutions, partnering across the business to connect tools, optimize processes, and build AI-driven automations that scale how our teams work. This role is critical as we continue to embed AI across our operations, driving efficiency and empowering our teams with cutting-edge autonomous solutions.
In this role you'll:
Design and deploy AI agents and copilots (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) that embed in Slack, ticketing tools, or custom UIs to assist both IT and business teams
Build and maintain low-code and agentic workflows that automate manual processes, improve accuracy, and boost team productivity
Analyze operational and support data to identify automation opportunities, own delivery from ideation to implementation, and measure business impact
Evangelize automation and AI: Run internal demos, share wins, and cultivate a self-service, autonomous, company-wide culture
Maintain a living library of knowledge-base articles, self-service flows, and function library so users can solve common requests without waiting in line, contributing to a more efficient and autonomous user experience
Stay on the cutting edge of SaaS, security, and AI trends; present quarterly “what’s next” briefings to IT leadership and stakeholders, identifying opportunities for continuous innovation
Collaborate closely with various internal teams to understand their needs and develop tailored autonomous solutions that enhance their workflows and productivity
What you'll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Exceptional communication skills—you can adapt style and content to different audiences
Scripting chops in TypeScript, Python, or Ruby; comfortable with REST/GraphQL APIs
Hands-on experience building low-code, vibe-coding, and actual coding
Deep curiosity, a “can solve anything” mindset, and a bias for action; you ship MVPs in days, not months
3 years in an IT operations, automation, and engineering role, in a high-growth SaaS environment, a plus
Ability to work in our NYC office 3 days a week
Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture
