Full Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Manager, People Systems to oversee Workday HCM at Lemonade. You will be involved with all aspects of system administration and support, and will also assist in defining strategy, managing projects, and developing solutions.

As a key member of the People team, you’ll shape how employees experience our people systems from onboarding to everyday workflows. Your mission isn’t just to automate processes, but to make them simpler, smarter, and more human. You’ll work closely with our Operations, Talent Acquisition and Finance teams, especially around Workday, to build scalable solutions that remove friction, support growth, and unlock efficiency across the entire company.

In this role you'll

  • Own Workday configuration and governance across HCM modules, ensuring scalable and user-friendly design

  • Partner with ATS and L&D system owners to align data, workflows, and integrations with Workday as the source of truth

  • Collaborate with Finance, People Operations, TA, L&D, and Systems Engineering to translate requirements into effective system solutions

  • Configure, test, and deploy Workday enhancements, proactively streamlining processes and improving the employee experience

  • Support integration design and maintenance (connector, Studio, API), ensuring accurate and secure data flow between platforms

  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making across the organization

  • Create documentation and training to help users efficiently navigate systems

  • Monitor adoption, performance, and data integrity, continuously identifying opportunities to reduce friction and optimize workflows

What you'll need

  • 5+ years of experience with HRIS or People systems, required

  • 3+ years working directly with Workday HCM configuration, required

  • Strong understanding of core People processes (HR Ops, Talent Acqusition, Compensation, Benefits, L&D)

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Ability to work in our Soho office - flexible with days

  • Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000 to $142,500 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
