FBMC is looking to add an Integration Engineer, Team Lead, who thrives at the intersection of technology, strategy, and leadership.
Position Overview
In this role, you will own the systems and integrations that keep critical business processes running smoothly while leading and mentoring a growing Salesforce and Integration team.
You will play a key part in shaping how data flows across the organization, driving platform improvements, and implementing scalable solutions that support growth. You will have the opportunity to lead projects from concept to launch, influence technology decisions, and remain hands-on with the platforms and integrations you help build.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and Grow a Technical Team
Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and mentorship for the Salesforce/Integration team.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages learning, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Delegate work effectively while helping team members build technical expertise and ownership.
Own Salesforce and Enterprise Integrations
Serve as the primary technical owner of the Salesforce platform, including configuration, integrations, governance, and data management.
Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal and third-party systems using APIs, webhooks, and other integration technologies.
Monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable, secure data flow across systems.
Drive Business-Critical Projects
Lead implementation projects, system enhancements, and platform initiatives from planning through deployment.
Partner with business and technology teams to gather requirements, identify solutions, and execute strategic priorities.
Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful outcomes.
Improve Processes and Technology
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through automation and system enhancements.
Develop documentation, standards, and best practices that improve consistency and support long-term scalability.
Evaluate and implement new technologies, Salesforce applications, and managed packages that extend platform capabilities.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience leading systems integration, application implementation, or technology-focused projects.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce administration, platform management, and system integrations.
Hands-on experience working with APIs, web services, ETL processes, and cloud-based technologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop technical team members.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading technical teams or serving in a team lead capacity.
PMP, Agile, Scrum, Six Sigma, or similar certification.
Experience evaluating and supporting Salesforce AppExchange solutions and managed packages.
Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and system compliance requirements.
Experience within the insurance, benefits, or financial services industry is a plus.
