DescriptionWork with U.S. Startups and C-Suite Executives as an Oceans Financial ControllerAbout OceansOceans is an outsourcing firm pairing the best talent in Sri Lanka with CEOs, Founders, and Executives in the U.S.The Role: Financial ControllerOceans is seeking highly ambitious candidates in Sri Lanka to become Financial ControllersResponsibilities Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Provide accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analysis to support decision-making at all levels of the organization Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and risk management activities Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement and implement appropriate measures Coordinate with external auditors for timely completion of audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial records Manage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, and training Requirements Language: Professional fluency in English, with excellent communication skills (reading, writing, speaking) Experience: 8+ years in Accounting and Finance sector.
