Role Overview

As Chartis continues to expand its impact as a leading healthcare strategy and advisory firm, we are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Executive Recruiter focused on the highest echelon executive-level recruiting to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the firm’s future by identifying, engaging, and securing exceptional senior talent.

In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to firm leadership, driving the full lifecycle recruitment of experienced hires, with a particular emphasis on Partner and Senior Partner-level positions. You will combine market intelligence, executive search expertise, and a deep understanding of Chartis’ mission to build a pipeline of transformative leaders who will accelerate the firm’s growth. From defining hiring needs through offer negotiations, you will lead a high-touch, relationship-driven hiring process that reflects the firm’s values of excellence, collaboration, and impact.

Responsibilities

Partner & Senior Partner Recruiting

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for Partner and Senior Partner-level roles across varied Healthcare Strategy, Financial, and Advisory practices.

  • Partner with firm leadership to define hiring needs, role specifications, and success profiles for senior-level candidates.

  • Build and manage a high-touch candidate pipeline by leveraging executive search methods, industry mapping, direct sourcing, and targeted outreach.

  • Assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and leadership potential through structured interviews and executive evaluation techniques.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior-level candidates, ensuring a high touch, confidential, and relationship-driven experience.

Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Managing Partners, and practice leaders on Partner hiring strategies.

  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to leadership, including compensation trends and talent availability.

  • Facilitate hiring committee discussions and present candidate slates, assessments, and recommendations to decision-makers.

  • Manage sensitive negotiations around compensation packages, equity, and onboarding terms in alignment with firm policies.

Talent Strategy & Market Development

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with senior executives in healthcare, consulting, and adjacent industries.

  • Represent Chartis externally at industry events, networking forums, and professional associations to strengthen employer brand positioning.

  • Partner with Marketing and Communications to enhance Chartis’ visibility in the senior executive talent market.

  • Monitor competitor activity and leadership moves to proactively identify and engage high-potential candidates.

Process & Operational Excellence

  • Deliver a best-in-class executive recruiting process tailored for Partner-level searches, ensuring confidentiality, rigor, and alignment with firm values.

  • Partner with Legal and HR to ensure compliance in hiring practices, contracts, and executive onboarding.

  • Track and report on executive recruiting metrics and pipeline health to senior leadership.

  • Collaborate with internal HR and People teams to ensure smooth transition and integration of senior hires into the firm.

Team Leadership

  • May lead and develop a small, high-impact recruiting team by setting clear priorities, providing hands-on coaching, and fostering accountability and professional growth.

  • Serve as a working leader and mentor by actively participating in key searches while guiding the team on stakeholder management, candidate experience, and data-driven recruiting decisions.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • At least ten years progressive recruiting and sourcing experience within a professional services or executive search firm with a minimum of three years' focus on strategy and advisory recruiting at Partner level and above required

  • Demonstrated experience hiring VP, Partner, and C-suite level executives and negotiated multi-component offers

  • Strong research and candidate generation skills, with the ability to generate a high-quality candidate pipeline; fluent in social recruiting tools including Linkedln Recruiter

  • Outstanding written and verbal communicator; able to clearly and passionately articulate the Chartis value proposition and listen exceptionally well

  • Entrepreneurial spirit; relishes opportunity to drive all aspects of experienced hire recruiting to create meaningful impact for the firm

  • Thrives in a rapidly evolving, dynamic environment, high level of comfort with ambiguity

  • Highly collaborative; equally effective as a team leader and a team player

  • Strong networks in management consulting, healthcare and/or healthcare IT industries

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook

  • Experience effectively utilizing an Applicant Tracking System; disciplined in accurately documenting workflow and all candidate-related details, allowing real time reporting

  • Minimal travel required (e.g., quarterly firm meetings industry events)

Salary range: $155,000-$220,000 plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
