Job Title: Estimator (Construction)
Location: LATAM (Remote)
Working Hours: Eastern Time
Compensation: $1400-1900 USD/month

About the Role
We're seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team and support our growing bid process for professional customers. You'll be responsible for creating accurate, comprehensive pre-job estimates for insulation, drywall, wood framing, and light gauge metal framing projects—ranging from single-family homes to large multi-unit developments ( 250+ units).
Key Responsibilities
Perform quantity takeoffs from construction plans and specifications
Measure roof pitches, ceilings, and walls on architectural drawings
Calculate material and labor requirements using established formulas for multiple projects simultaneously
Develop complete priced estimate packages ready for client submission
Collaborate with office management to compile and finalize estimates
Support project bidding for both small (SFH) and large-scale (100-250+ unit complex) projects
Communicate effectively with internal team and supervisors
Proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes and workflow
Required Experience
Proven experience in construction, specifically with insulation, drywall, and wood framing
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
Experience measuring and calculating quantities from architectural drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent internal communication skills (English required; accents welcome)
Ability to work independently and take ownership of estimates
Preferred Qualifications
Construction management or architecture background
Industry certifications or formal training in estimating
Familiarity with estimation software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar)
Light-gauge metal framing experience
Experience with professional bidding processes
Proactive problem-solver who seeks solutions independently
Open to feedback and willing to adapt processes without resistance
