Full Job Description
Profound is on a mission to help companies understand and control their AI presence. As an Engagement Manager (Agencies), you will partner closely with internal teams including Sales, Product, and Engineering to address customer needs, drive adoption, and facilitate meaningful outcomes through strategic consultations, success planning, and targeted support. At Profound, you will serve as an expert guiding customers through the future of search — sharing best practices and actionable tactics to enhance their AI visibility and advising clients by assisting with strategic decisions utilizing the Profound platform.
What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for marketing, digital, PR, and integrated agencies of all sizes.
Conduct regular strategic business reviews, proactively identifying opportunities and addressing risks.
Deeply understand customer objectives, proactively managing relationships with key stakeholders across their teams and their clients.
Effectively multi-thread customer engagements to mitigate risk from stakeholder turnover.
Collaborate internally with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to optimize customer implementation and resolve technical challenges.
Who You Are
At least 3+ years of experience in agencies working in an account management role or within the marketing department of a top-tier brand.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and demonstrations effectively.
Self-motivated and driven, with a passion for building strong customer relationships.
Comfortable diving in head-first in the face of challenges and ambiguity.
Analytical mindset with strong comfort working with numbers.
Able to own a process end to end.
Strong at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously — you’re good at juggling things.

For this role, the expected base salary range is $100,000 – $160,000.
