We are seeking a Content Marketing Specialist who will help power LeanData’s content engine, turning strategy into execution across blogs, email, social, video, and web. This role is responsible for publishing, optimizing, and distributing content that builds brand visibility, supports campaigns, and drives business impact. Working closely with the Senior Manager of Content Strategy and marketing partners across the organization, the Specialist ensures content reaches the right audience, performs well, and stays aligned with company priorities.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Content Strategy in Demand Generation and is based in our Santa Clara, CA office on Monday and Wednesday each week.

What you will do:

  • Own blog execution end-to-end, including drafting posts (with guidance), publishing in WordPress, formatting, basic SEO and AEO, and ongoing optimization.

  • Produce and publish the LeanData newsletter in HubSpot, including copywriting and performance reporting.

  • Run all LeanData social programs including Sprout Social Advocacy, uploading content for employees, creating posts, recruiting participants, and tracking engagement.

  • Maintain and update the Content Calendar in Asana, ensuring new assets are documented and aligned to campaigns.

  • Support website content cleanup and archiving, updating pages, and working with the web developer on maintenance.

  • Draft, upload and publish LeanData Newsroom articles, with final review by the Senior Manager.

  • Upload and organize content in a content management system (GTM Buddy or similar), including archiving old content

  • Write and publish content for LeanData’s annual conference, OpsStars, including promo blogs, corresponding social posts, manage video communications with videographer, and upload videos to YouTube

  • Monitor AI SDR conversations (Qualified), surface patterns or issues, and suggest prompt refinements to improve performance.

  • Support event content needs by promoting on Sprout Social Advocacy and coordinating with speakers and design on presentation slides and session assets.

  • Manage LeanData’s YouTube channel, including uploading videos, writing descriptions, tagging, organizing playlists, and optimizing for discovery.

Required skills and capabilities:

  • 2–3 years of experience in B2B SaaS content marketing, ideally in a high-growth technology company.

  • Strong writing skills for B2B SaaS technology audiences, particularly RevOps, Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, and GTM leaders.

  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering, with practical experience using AI tools to create, refine, and repurpose content.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Field Marketing on campaign needs.

  • Understanding of LinkedIn social strategy and employee advocacy programs, including how to create shareable, professional content that performs well in-feed.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing, English, or Journalism (or closely related field).

Preferred software/tools experience:

The ideal candidate should have working familiarity with most of the following (with willingness to learn the rest):

  • Email/newsletter publishing (Hubspot or similar marketing automation platform)

  • Web content publishing and formatting (Wordpress)

  • Basic visual creation (Canva, Adobe Creative Studio, or similar)

  • Project management and content calendar tools (Asana, Airtable or similar)

  • Video publishing and optimization for YouTube Creator Studio

  • Employee advocacy and social publishing (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar)

  • Basic website reporting and interpretation (Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar)

  • Video hosting and sharing (Vidyard or similar)

  • Generative AI writing tools (Jasper.ai or similar)
