As a Commercial Account Manager, you will be a vital member of our client service team—responsible for ensuring businesses across industries remain well-protected, well-served, and well-supported.
In this role, you will manage a book of business alongside commercial risk advisors, handling servicing, renewals, and daily support needs. You will interact directly with business clients, carrier underwriters, and internal teams to deliver accurate coverage, responsive communication, and a consistently high standard of service.

Key Responsibilities
Account & Policy Servicing
Serve as the primary point of contact for client questions, policy changes, billing inquiries, and general service requests.
Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and audit reviews promptly and accurately.
Issue certificates of insurance (COIs), evidence of property, binders, and other required documentation.
Renewal Management
Track renewal timelines and initiate the renewal process 60–90 days prior to expiration.
Request updated exposure data (e.g., payroll, sales, equipment, vehicles) to prepare for renewal quoting.
Coordinate with producers to assess renewal strategies—whether to renew as-is, remarket, or re-structure coverage.
Quoting & Marketing Support
Prepare submissions for new business and mid-market renewals.
Obtain quotes from multiple carriers when remarketing is required.
Review proposals and compare coverages, limits, and pricing to ensure recommendations align with client needs.
Client Relationship Support
Build rapport with clients through professional and responsive communication.
Provide clear explanations of coverage terms, renewal updates, or policy changes.
Assist clients during claims by coordinating with carriers and ensuring the process runs smoothly.
System & Carrier Coordination
Maintain accurate, organized records in the agency management system (AMS360).
Ensure compliance with documentation standards, activity logs, and policy file completeness.
Develop working relationships with carrier underwriters and marketing reps to facilitate smooth processing and problem-solving.
Success Metrics
Client retention and satisfaction
Accuracy and timeliness of policy changes and renewals
Quoting/remarketing turnaround times
Documentation quality in AMS and carrier systems
Internal collaboration and producer feedback
Qualifications
Experience in a commercial lines insurance servicing role is required
Active Property & Casualty license preferred
Or we will provide all the tools and study materials to allow you to gain your P&C insurance license.Strong knowledge of commercial lines coverages (e.g., GL, WC, Property, Auto, Umbrella, E&O, Cyber)
Proficiency with agency management systems (AMS360 preferred) and carrier portals
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear and professional written and verbal communication
Ability to manage time independently and balance multiple priorities
Commitment to providing empathetic, high-quality client service
