Risk Services of Louisianna, a Leavitt Group affiliate, is seeking an experienced and driven Claims Leader to join their team.
As the Claims Leader, you will oversee multi-state Property & Casualty and Workers’ Compensation claims while leading and developing a high-performing claims advocacy team. You’ll combine hands-on claims expertise with strategic leadership to deliver organized, client-focused service that supports retention, strengthens carrier relationships, and enhances agency performance.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Develop the Claims Team
Mentor and develop team members to drive performance and growth
Establish clear workflows, service standards, and accountability
Build scalable, repeatable claims processes and training tools
Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented team culture
Drive Claims Excellence
Manage and oversee complex multi-state P&C and Workers’ Compensation claims
Provide oversight for high-exposure or escalated claims
Advocate for clients to ensure timely and fair resolution
Build strong carrier relationships and escalation procedures
Identify trends and recommend proactive risk management strategies
You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients while delivering measurable value through organized, proactive claims management.
What We’re Looking For
6+ years of insurance experience, preferably in an agency setting
Strong background in P&C and Workers’ Compensation claims
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Deep knowledge of coverages, carrier processes, and claims procedures
Active Property & Casualty license (required)
Industry designations (CIC, CRM, CPCU) preferred or willingness to pursue
