Full Job Description
We are hiring a Business Control Manager to join our Compliance team at Chime, where you will be responsible for strengthening the first line of defense by partnering with business units to ensure they operate in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust compliance and control frameworks that support effective risk management across Chime. As a key player in our compliance team, you will support various departments, including product, marketing, legal, and operations, to ensure our business practices align with regulatory standards and best practices.
The Business Control Manager will also monitor the evolving regulatory landscape and advise on control enhancements to existing products and services, ensuring they remain compliant, fair, and responsible as we continue to scale. This role provides an exciting opportunity to directly influence the compliance strategy within a growing company that values innovation and consumer protection.

In This Role, You Can Expect To:
- Play a key role in the creation, enhancement, and ongoing execution of the business unit’s control frameworks and policy development to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop, monitor, and test preventative and detective controls with a robust QA program to align with regulatory requirements.
