Accountant Manufacturing & Commercial Interiors Industry (MST Time Zone, Remote) We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support the financial operations of a growing company in the manufacturing and commercial interiors sector. This is a fully remote position based in the Mountain Standard Time (MST) zone, ideal for someone who is organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while staying closely connected with the team. Key Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and manage full-cycle accounting

Record, post, and reconcile all business transactions accurately and on time

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts on a regular basis

Collect timesheets from staff, summarize hours, and prepare payroll information for the payroll service provider

File GST/PST and payroll-related taxes at month-end

Prepare and maintain weekly Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable aging reports

Provide weekly financial summaries and operational reports to management

Follow up with sales staff on outstanding receivables and overdue customer accounts

Prepare weekly Accounts Payable schedules for review and approval by the Director of Finance and Operation

Collect and verify bi-weekly payroll

Send payment remittance advice to vendors and suppliers

Communicate with sales staff, management, and vendors to obtain financial documentation and respond to inquiries

Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized financial records

Work with external accountants to support year-end and audit processes

Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and internal controls

Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis as required

Requirements

Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Business or Accounting; ACCA is highly preferred

Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping

Hands-on experience with GST/PST and payroll tax filings

High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a remote environment

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational business setting

Experience with NetSuite will be a strong asset

Proficiency in Excel and accounting software

Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams, including operations and sales

Compensation

Pay range: CAD $700 $900 per month, based on experience and qualifications
