Role Overview
This is a mid-level Account Executive role focused on building partnerships with CPA firms through targeted outbound efforts. You'll prospect using phone, email, and LinkedIn, run discovery calls to understand firm needs, qualify opportunities, and set up meetings with the Founder. Over time, you'll take on more responsibility for closing partnerships and directly impact pipeline growth through this new channel.

About the Role
ProcureDesk is investing heavily in outbound and partnerships and wants to build a repeatable channel with CPA firms. You will be the person driving that motion.
This is not a transactional SDR role. You will run targeted outreach to CPA firms, have real conversations with partners, qualify opportunities, and set up high quality meetings with the Founder. Over time, you will own more of the discovery and partnership closing process yourself.

What You Will Do
Own outbound to CPA firms
Prospect into CPA firms that match our ICP using phone, email and LinkedIn
Work from curated account lists and contact data provided by our RevOps / list-building partners
Personalize outreach so you sound like a consultant, not a script reader
Run smart discovery with potential partners
Explain ProcureDesk at a clear, high level and how we help CPA firms
Lead initial discovery calls to understand the firm’s clients, industries and current spend / AP challenges
Qualify firms based on fit, potential volume and willingness to invest in a modern procurement process
Clearly communicate the win win win
CPA firms reduce internal workload and scope creep
End clients get better visibility, compliance and cost control
ProcureDesk gains a scalable channel relationship
Build and progress partnership opportunities
Book and prepare partnership calls for the Founder
Join calls, take notes and help drive follow ups and next steps
Over time, take on more responsibility for running partner discovery independently
Track partner pipeline and signed partners inside HubSpot (or similar CRM)
Collaborate and continuously improve
Work closely with the Founder to test and refine messaging to CPA firms
Listen to recordings of your own calls and self coach before each feedback session
Bring data and insights on which verticals, firm profiles and messages are working best
Share learnings with the broader sales team as the partner program scales
What You Bring
Must haves
Experience in B2B outbound sales or partnerships, ideally 2+ years in SaaS or software
Proven track record booking and running discovery calls with senior decision makers
True consultative style
You ask smart questions
You can listen, summarize and tie problems back to clear business value
Comfortable talking about money, ROI and efficiency with finance focused buyers
Strong phone presence and confidence running calls in English with US based leaders
C2 level English (spoken and written)
Highly organized with experience using a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce
Self starter mindset. You can take a high level goal and figure out the path to get there
Nice to haves
Experience working with or selling to CPA firms, accounting firms or finance / accounting teams
Background in procurement, AP automation, spend management or adjacent categories
Prior experience in a partner development, channel or alliances role
Familiarity with tools like Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and power dialers
What Success Looks Like
In your first 3 to 6 months you will:
Ramp on ProcureDesk product, ICP and value proposition for CPA firms
Consistently book qualified partnership conversations for the Founder
Run structured discovery that captures firm profile, client counts and key pain points
Help sign your first CPA partners and start to see early client opportunities come from that channel
Compensation
Competitive base salary paid in USD: $2500 - $3,000 per month,
Performance based commission and/or bonus tied to signed partners and channel performance
Opportunity for higher earnings as the partner program scales and your impact grows
