Keller Postman represents a broad array of clients in class and mass actions, individual arbitrations, and multidistrict litigation matters at the trial and appellate levels in federal and state courts. Serving hundreds of thousands of clients in litigation and arbitration, we have prosecuted high-profile mass tort, antitrust, privacy, product liability, employment, and consumer-rights cases. Our firm also acts as plaintiffs' counsel in high-stakes public-enforcement actions. Purpose: Keller Postman seeks a diligent, detail-oriented, and collaborative Workup and Settlement Attorney to work closely with our case management team to work up cases eligible, or soon to be eligible, for settlements in large mass torts. This role focuses on managing decision points for case progression, preparing cases for settlement, guiding clients through the offer process, and collaborating with legal assistants and other team members. This attorney will also participate in the elevation rotation on a regular basis.
The annual salary range for this full-time, remote position is $100,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience; plus the role is eligible for a year-end discretionary performance bonus and benefits. Please note this is a non-Partner-track position.
Essential Functions:
Case Oversight and Management: Collaborate closely with our case management team to work up settlement-eligible clients, evaluating decision points such as reviewing notes, medical records, and related documentation to determine case progression.
Client Offer Process: Manage client interactions during the offer process for settlement offers generated by the case management team, ensuring clear communication and support throughout.
