About the Role: The VP, Portfolio and Underwriting sets and maintains the organization’s credit culture while leading the underwriting of all new business transactions. The role develops and implements credit origination practices grounded in internal and external data, Program Standards, and industry regulations. This leader oversees underwriting and portfolio teams responsible for transaction evaluation, customer monitoring, risk rating, portfolio exposure analysis, and performance reporting. The VP also partners cross‑functionally with legal, operations, and other business units, contributes to workout strategies, and is accountable for training and developing a high‑performing underwriting and portfolio team.
