Purpose:
The Mid-Level Support 2 Business Consultant role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless alignment between the DLP powered by payspace system and our customers' business operations while maintaining world-class support services internally. This position focuses on system development and application design and implementing best practices and processes for internal customer support and product improvement.
Responsibilities:
Utilize technology to propose and deliver technical solutions addressing customers' operational challenges and requirements.
Collaborate with customers and internal departments to integrate DLP with their business operations effectively.
Apply best practices in architecture to identify optimal solutions for customers.
Draft and communicate Functional and System Integration specifications based on extensive consultation with customers.
Conduct solution demonstrations and testing to illustrate real-life functionality.
Enhance DLP efficiency and security by integrating performance metrics and encryption.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of third-party apps like Power Automate and Power BI to deliver effective technical solutions.
Working with operational leads to ensure consistent technical upskilling of teams.
Resolve system issues raised by relevant departments and provide coaching to mitigate risk and improve service levels.
Research and implement best practice standards to enhance internal customer support.
Document and Process Improvement
Document configuration steps, scripting logic, and integration processes clearly for future reference.
Contribute to maintaining and improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal knowledge base content.
Identify process gaps and suggest enhancements to improve system performance and customer experience.
Share knowledge with peers and assist in training junior support team members when needed.
Skills and Competencies
Solid understanding of system configuration, component setups, and calculation logic.
Working knowledge of JavaScript, APIs, and data mapping.
Experience with GL integration and bank file customization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
3–5 years of experience business consulting, or system implementation role.
Minimum 3 years Deel Local Payroll experience.
Practical experience in:
Configuring API integrations and Custom Bank Files.
Writing or modifying JavaScript and GL scripts.
Handling complex setups and calculation order configurations.
Exposure to SaaS environments or enterprise business systems preferred.
