Adeptus, a growing full service CPA firm, with offices in New York City, New Jersey, Long Island and Maryland, is seeking a Tax Senior/Manager for their office located in Ocean, NJ.
Job Responsibilities:
This position will work closely with the current accounting staff and management, including but not limited to:
Review individual, corporate (S corp and C corp), partnership tax returns
Review General Ledger and reports to assist in preparation of tax projections
Perform tax research and planning, as needed, to solve client’s tax issues
Assist in the preparation of financial reports that may include net worth statements, cash flow schedules, meeting packages, budgets, investment analysis, tour reconciliations, etc.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
7-10 years Accounting experience
Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid computer skills including tax software and MS Excel, Word
Exceptional analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Preferred:
CPA license
Experience with Lacerte
Experience with Quickbooks
Experience in International taxation
