POSITION SUMMARYThe Strategic Partnerships Lead is responsible for assisting the VP of IAA Global Product in managing business relationships with key strategic partners and vendors that align to IAA Marketplace s strategic priorities and unlock value for customers. This individual will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and evaluate partnership opportunities, develop strategic plans, onboard new partners, support product integration efforts, and maintain ongoing partner relationships.KEY OBJECTIVESIdentify new partnership opportunities that align with marketplace strategy and growth objectivesStrengthen relationships with existing strategic partnersCommunicate progress of joint initiatives with stakeholders and leadershipStay informed on insurance and whole car remarketing industry trendsAttend relevant conferences and trade shows to network and evaluate industry shiftsAssess potential partners by analyzing capabilities, financials, and business plansUnderstand customer needs and vendor strengths to translate into strategic opportunitiesWork with Product Management to define requirements for integrations and new capabilitiesManage the partner portfolio and establish performance measurement criteriaLead prioritization of development and integration initiativesCollaborate with Procurement, Legal, Product Management, and Engineering to support onboarding and enablementCoordinate internal cross-functional meetings and alignment activitiesContribute to overall Product Management strategy and business growth initiatives across RB GlobalMAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIESDevelop and maintain a strategic partner portfolio aligned to IAA Marketplace visionDefine partner performance criteria and ensure performance optimizationCoordinate successful execution of partner integrationsStrengthen existing partner relationships and identify new joint value opportunitiesCommunicate partnership and integration updates to key executivesEnsure understanding and compliance with partner agreementsGENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIESDevelop strategic partnership plans in accordance with corporate prioritiesOperate independently, demonstrating initiative and accountabilityInfluence stakeholders effectively and communicate strategic recommendations persuasivelyDeliver commitments and manage work in an organized, timely mannerUnderstand key business drivers, financial performance, and cost strategiesNavigate and adapt to fast-changing environmentsDemonstrate sound business judgment and objective decision-makingLead and coordinate projects, delegate responsibility appropriately, and remove blockersManage partner portfolio within financial targets and report performance metricsMaintain strong interdepartmental relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environmentQUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor s degree or equivalent experienceExperience:5 10+ years in Business Development, Product Management, or related partnerships roleDemonstrated experience developing partnerships and driving measurable resultsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and external partnersWORKING CONDITIONSRemote / Office environmentExtensive use of computer-based communicationRegular interaction with partners, customers, and internal teamsTravel: Required (conferences, partner meetings, site visits)WHAT YOU WILL BRINGDemonstrated leadership and ownershipStrong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skillsAbility to work independently with minimal directionExcellent written and verbal communication skills; strong relationship-building abilitiesHigh integrity, professionalism, and ability to perform effectively under pressureComfortable working with diverse stakeholders and navigating ambiguity
