The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Senior Manager, People Platforms & Global Operations to build the operating system behind the Atlanian experience. As a remote-first, multi-country company, we want our People Ops to feel as thoughtful, fast, and well-designed as the products we ship.
This role sits at the intersection of People Ops, systems, and AI. You’ll own the platforms, workflows, and data that power everything from onboarding to mobility to compliance, bringing a systems-first, AI-native mindset to how we scale. You’ll be hands-on in the tools and lead a small team, shaping an operating model that’s clear, measurable, and built to last.
What You’ll Do
Own the People OS
Be the product owner for our core People systems (HRIS, helpdesk, workflow/automation tools, integrations).
Design joiner / mover / leaver and other lifecycle flows so they’re documented, measurable (SLAs, volumes, error rates), and easy to delegate.
Partner with IT and Engineering to maintain clean data, strong integrations, and reliable audit trails.
Make AI and automation real
Redesign high-volume, repeatable workflows for automation and AI support (triage, routing, drafting, checks).
Use AI to classify requests, draft communications and policy summaries, and spot patterns in People data.
Set clear guardrails: define what runs end-to-end and where humans review.
Lead global lifecycle and compliance ops
Own onboarding and offboarding across entities and EORs.
Oversee manager, job, and location changes, plus global mobility in partnership with Legal and Finance.
Turn People policies and compliance requirements (background checks, eligibility, leave rules) into clear system workflows and playbooks. Manage the People-Ops side of EOR relationships and maintain a lightweight services catalog so Atlanians know what to expect.
Lead and partner well
Manage People Ops ICs (starting with a coordinator).
Partner closely with Talent, Finance, Legal, IT, and Security to keep everything aligned and on track.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years in People Ops, HR Ops, People Platforms, or Global HR Ops in a high-growth, multi-country company.
Primary owner of at least one HRIS or major People system implementation or re-architecture.
Led a helpdesk, service-management, or workflow-automation rollout that materially changed how a team worked.Hands-on exposure to employment and benefits compliance operations, with experience partnering with Legal.
Comfort operating across time zones and employment models (entities, EORs, contractors).
