About the Role
Riseworks is looking for a Solidity Developer who knows how to build real smart contract systems, not just simple ERC20s. You should have experience writing secure, complex contracts for DeFi and payment flows. You will design on chain solutions, write and deploy the contracts, and also handle the full integration across the backend using Typescript, Javascript, and MySQL.
You will work closely with the team to take ideas from concept to production. If you enjoy solving technical problems, understanding how money moves on chain, and building products end to end, this role is for you.
What You Will Do
Build and maintain Solidity smart contracts for DeFi and payment workflows
Write secure, gas efficient code following best practices
Design technical architecture for new features and on chain logic
Integrate smart contracts with backend systems using Typescript, Javascript, and MySQL
Work with the team to test, audit, and refine contract logic
Troubleshoot issues across contracts, APIs, and database layers
Stay current on Solidity, EVM updates, and security standards
What You Should Bring
Strong experience with Solidity and EVM based development
Proven background building complex smart contracts, especially DeFi or payment related
Solid knowledge of contract security patterns
Backend experience with Typescript, Javascript, and MySQL
Ability to think through system design and build end to end solutions
Comfortable working in a fast moving startup environment
Excellent written and spoken English at a C2 level
Nice to Have
Experience with contract testing frameworks
Knowledge of web3 libraries like ethers.js or web3.js
Understanding of gas optimization techniques
Familiarity with audits, documentation, or open source repos
