Senior UI Engineer - Remote (Bulgaria)

Your impact

We're looking for a talented UI Engineer to join our team! In this role, you'll bring our Agentic Vulnerability Platform to life, building a beautiful, high-performance web application using React, TypeScript, and GraphQL. You'll collaborate closely with our design team, transforming Figma designs into a seamless, responsive user interface. Working hand-in-hand with both our designers and backend engineers, you'll create an experience that is not only scalable and efficient, but also a joy for users to interact with.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, performant frontend features using React, TypeScript, and Material-UI

• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready code with attention to detail

• Implement smooth micro-interactions and animations using Framer Motion, CSS, or MUI animations

• Collaborate closely with designers to bring motion design concepts to life

• Write clean, maintainable TypeScript code following component architecture best practices

• Integrate with GraphQL APIs using Apollo Client

• Optimize animation performance and ensure smooth experiences

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex UI issues in production environments

• Participate in code reviews and provide thoughtful feedback to teammates

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience

• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript

• Solid experience with Material-UI (MUI) or similar component libraries

• Demonstrated experience implementing CSS animations and transitions

• Experience with Figma and translating designs into code

• Solid understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility issues

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to UI polish

• Strong written and communication skills with proven fluency in English

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Framer Motion or other animation libraries (GSAP, Lottie, Rive)

• Familiarity with Vite build tooling

• Understanding of motion design principles and animation timing/easing

• Experience with SVG animations or canvas-based graphics

• Exposure to After Effects or ability to interpret animation mockups

• Knowledge of web animation performance optimization techniques

• Experience building and maintaining design systems

• Background or strong interest in UI/UX design

• Contributions to open-source projects or strong portfolio demonstrating animation work
