Remote Leverage, a talent startup based in California, USA, is building and launching a new, independent SaaS platform backed by a proprietary talent dataset, and we re hiring a Senior Full Stack MERN Developer to join as a founding engineer. This is a remote role focused on building a standalone product with external customers, real scale, and long-term ambition not client work and not internal tooling. About the ProductWe re developing a proprietary software platform designed to transform how companies discover, evaluate, and hire remote talent at scale. The product already has a functioning MVP and early validation. Your role will be to take it from working to production-ready ensuring it is stable, scalable, secure, and polished enough for a public launch and real-world usage. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role with significant ownership and influence over the product s technical direction. What You ll Be Responsible For Taking an existing MVP and bringing it to market-ready, production qualityDesigning and refining backend APIs and data modelsImproving frontend UX, usability, and performanceEnsuring the system is stable, secure, and scalableIdentifying and resolving edge cases, bugs, and technical debtMaking pragmatic architectural decisions that support long-term growthWorking closely with the founder to move fast while maintaining engineering disciplineWriting clean, maintainable, well-structured TypeScriptApplying a product-minded engineering approach, not just feature deliveryThriving in an environment with ambiguity, iteration, and evolving requirements Must-Have Skills & Experience 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar roleStrong experience with TypeScript across frontend and backendSolid React experience building production-grade user interfacesExperience building Node.js / Express APIsExperience working with MongoDB in production environmentsProven track record of shipping and maintaining real-world SaaS productsAbility to move a product from it works reliable, scalable, and usableStrong product-minded engineering mentalityComfortable working without rigid specs and iterating quicklyFluent English, written and verbalProfessional, collaborative, and proactiveOpen to feedback and continuous improvement This Role Is a Great Fit If You Enjoy taking ownership of real products from early stagesLike working close to founders and decision-makersHave shipped SaaS products before and know where MVPs tend to breakCare deeply about code quality, maintainability, and scalabilityWant meaningful impact on a product with real market potential CompensationUSD 3000 to 4000 per month We value real-world production experience over polished portfolios.
