We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Audit Accountant to join their growing assurance team. In this role, you will support the execution of attest engagements—including audits, reviews, and compilations—while serving as a key contributor to fieldwork, client communication, and technical accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed audit and attest procedures in accordance with professional standards (GAAS, SSARS).
Prepare and review financial statements, workpapers, and supporting documentation.
Communicate directly with clients to gather information, explain findings, and deliver exceptional service.
Identify accounting and audit issues and collaborate with supervisors or managers on resolution.
Assist with engagement planning, budgeting, and timeline management.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates on engagements.
Stay current on accounting and auditing standards relevant to client industries.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred.
2–4 years of public accounting experience with a focus on attest/audit services.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and GAAS.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and audit software (e.g., CCH Engagement, CaseWare, etc.).
