Product Manager, Salesforce
Full Job Description
At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it.
As a Product Manager for Business Systems at Vanta, you will be a critical contributor to the Salesforce and Go-to-Market (GTM) ecosystem. This role focuses on post-opportunity creation workflows, including opportunity lifecycle management, quoting, contracts, entitlements, ERP integration, product integration, and provisioning.
You will partner closely with Revenue Operations, Finance, Deal Desk, Product, Sales, and Legal teams to build and optimize the systems and processes that power Vanta's GTM motion. Reporting to the Lead Product Manager for Business Systems, you'll work alongside two other Product Managers and collaborate with our Salesforce Admin & Developer teams to deliver high-impact improvements to our Quote-to-Cash processes.
You'll own key areas of our Salesforce ecosystem focused on post-opportunity workflows, ensuring seamless processes from quote creation through provisioning. This is a hands-on product management role where you'll translate business requirements into clear product specifications, drive execution, measure adoption, and deliver measurable business outcomes. You'll balance strategic roadmap initiatives with thoughtful responses to emerging business needs, serving as a trusted thought partner to stakeholders across the organization.
What you’ll do as a Product Manager at Vanta:
Own the complete lifecycle of features and capabilities from conception through delivery, adoption, and measurable business outcomes
Balance strategic roadmap projects with ad hoc business requests, proactively anticipating stakeholder needs and serving as a thought partner in designing scalable solutions
Partner with Revenue Operations, Finance, Deal Desk, and Sales to gather requirements and translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements and process designs
Establish data-driven frameworks to measure system performance, user adoption, and business impact, using analytics to inform prioritization and drive continuous improvement
Own the product roadmap and execution for post-opportunity workflows including quoting, contracts, entitlements, and provisioning
Work with vendors who support Quote-to-Cash workflows, including LeanData (opportunity routing), Ironclad (contracts), Nue (CPQ), NetSuite (ERP), Workato (automation), and others to optimize integrations and maximize value
Design and deliver integrations between Salesforce, ERP systems, and Vanta's product platform to enable end-to-end Quote-to-Cash automation
Drive change management and user adoption initiatives, ensuring features deliver intended business value and achieve sustained usage
Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
Communicate project status, adoption metrics, and business impact to stakeholders across the organization
Leverage AI and automation technologies to improve workflow efficiency and reduce manual processes
How to be successful in this role:
4+ years in product management, business systems, or revenue operations within B2B SaaS, with demonstrated ability to own full lifecycle management from build through adoption and outcome measurement
Strong data fluency—experience establishing KPIs, analyzing metrics, and using data to drive decisions and demonstrate impact
Proven ability to balance strategic roadmap execution with ad hoc requests, proactively anticipating needs and serving as a thought partner
Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform (flows, validation rules, custom objects, process automation) and deep understanding of Quote-to-Cash processes including CPQ, Contract Lifecycle Management, entitlements, and provisioning
Experience managing vendor relationships and optimizing integrations with third-party platforms like LeanData, Ironclad, Nue, NetSuite, or Workato
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Engineering teams, and excellent communication skills to translate technical work into business outcomes
Experience with agile methodologies, ERP integrations, and billing/revenue recognition requirements
Customer-focused mindset with ability to proactively identify needs before they're articulated
Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform App Builder) and interest in leveraging AI/automation technologies are a plus
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Open to using AI to amplify their skills and strengthen their work - demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact

About Vanta
We started in 2018, in the wake of several high-profile data breaches. Online security was only becoming more important, but we knew firsthand how hard it could be for fast-growing companies to invest the time and manpower it takes to build a solid security foundation. Vanta was inspired by a vision to restore trust in internet businesses by enabling companies to improve and prove their security. From our early days automating security monitoring for compliance standards like SOC 2, HIPAA and ISO 27001 to creating the world's leading Trust Management Platform, our vision remains unchanged.
Now more than ever, making security continuous—not just a point-in-time check— is essential. Thousands of companies rely on Vanta to build, maintain and demonstrate their trust— all in a way that's real-time and transparent.
