We’re looking for a frontend-focused engineer who’s excited to help Hemi build tools that support patients and therapists, cares about making a real difference, and enjoys working closely with a small, hands-on team.Hemi is building a digital platform that supports patients and therapists between clinical sessions. The company is especially excited about the opportunities AI unlocks to enhance both sides of the experience — from an AI pain coach that helps patients stay engaged, supported, and motivated between appointments, to a clinical copilot that helps therapists work more efficiently and make better-informed decisions with richer insights and smarter workflows.Relevant experiences:Strong experience with React Native and TypeScriptSolid frontend fundamentals and care for UX qualityProduct-minded approach and curiosity about users and clear and kind communication styleComfortable using English in daily work communicationHigh integrity, ownership, and accountability and experience working in startups or scale-upsNice to have:Familiarity with Kubernetes or cloud infrastructureExperience in regulated or data-sensitive environmentsExperience building multi-sided platformsFamiliarity with the company's stack: VS Code, Opencode AI, GitHub & GitHub Actions, Linear, Figma, Slack, Google Workspace, Sentry, Metabase and MixpanelAccountabilities:Build and improve patient-facing and clinician-facing product features.
