Role Overview
As a Senior Product Designer, you will own end-to-end design for Saltz's core restaurant and supplier apps, leading discovery, UX/UI, and prototyping while iterating with real users. You'll partner with product managers, engineers, and founders to design and ship features, tying design to business outcomes like GMV and retention. We are looking for a savvy Senior Product Designer who wants to be a part of building from 0 to 1. You would be joining Saltz at a defining moment. We are a seriously funded, VC-backed startup laying the foundational pillars that will shape our design system, product experience, and culture for years to come. You will work directly with our founding R&D team.
You will own the end-to-end design for our Restaurant and Supplier apps. You'll lead discovery, UX/UI, and rapid prototyping, iterating directly with real users. Your challenge is to build the design backbone that makes Saltz exceptional and turns design into a true business engine.

What you’ll do:
Own end-to-end design for Saltz’s core products, from discovery and concepts to high-fidelity designs.
Partner with PM, engineers, and founders to design and ship delightful, functional features.
Help us tie design to measurable business outcomes (GMV, retention, conversion).
Co-build the Saltz design system - our shared foundation for all products.
Co-build our design culture and process: critiques, component reviews, documentation.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure design consistency across product and brand.
Run lightweight research and usability tests to validate ideas and improve user experience.
Mentor future designers as the team grows – you’ll help shape our hiring bar and org DNA.
