About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Process Lead to spearhead the transformation and optimization of our end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing processes. This role is critical in driving operational excellence, implementing automation solutions, and ensuring world-class efficiency, control, and customer outcomes within our financial operations. The ideal candidate is a finance and operations expert with a proven track record of using technology and data to solve complex scaling challenges and lead cross-functional process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Improvement & Automation: Analyze, design, and implement automation-first strategies for core AR, Billing, Credit Control, and cash allocation workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce manual effort.

  • Operational Excellence: Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process turnaround times, reconciliation accuracy, dispute resolution, and cash flow forecasting.

  • System Optimization: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Business Intelligence (BI) teams to define requirements, test, and implement robust financial tooling and systems that support global scale and complex financial environments.

  • Risk & Control: Establish and maintain strong Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal controls to mitigate operational risk, ensure compliance, and support accurate financial reporting.

  • Change Management: Lead and influence cross-functional teams to adopt new processes, controls, and technologies, ensuring seamless transition and sustained performance improvements.

  • Strategic Planning: Provide data-led insights and recommendations to finance leadership on operational performance, future automation roadmap, and strategic resource allocation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance, Operations, or Process Improvement, with significant exposure to Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Credit Control.

  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing process automation (RPA, workflow, system integration) within a complex financial or technology-driven environment.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with experience managing KPIs, tracking performance, and using data to drive operational decisions.

  • Strong leadership, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly working with technical teams (Product, BI, Engineering).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage operational controls, compliance frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, international, or high-growth tech environment is highly desirable.
