Payroll & Benefits Administrator

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Benefits & Payroll Administrator who takes pride in accuracy and consistency. This is a hands-on role responsible for processing payroll and administering benefits with precision and consistency.

What You’ll Own

Payroll & Compliance

  • Process bi-weekly, off-cycle, and commission payroll accurately and on time

  • Reconcile payroll and benefits deductions

  • Maintain payroll data, deductions, and tax setup

  • Audit payroll prior to submission to ensure 100% accuracy

  • Administer all wage garnishments, levies, and court-ordered deductions

  • Ensure payroll and benefits processes remain compliant with applicable federal and state regulations

Benefits Administration & Regulatory Oversight

  • Process benefit enrollments and qualifying life events (QLEs)

  • Submit changes directly with carriers

  • Reconcile carrier invoices and resolve discrepancies

  • Oversee HSA/FSA/COBRA administration

  • Coordinate retirement plan contributions and compliance

  • Support annual open enrollment

  • Support compliance with ERISA, ACA, Section 125

Employee Experience & Vendor Relationships

  • Respond to employee questions regarding pay and benefits

  • Protect employee data confidentiality at all times

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience processing payroll

  • Experience managing garnishments and payroll compliance

  • Experience administering employee benefits and QLEs

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
