Role:
At Acquisition.com, the Payroll Administrator will oversee end-to-end weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing, ensure accuracy and compliance, and support payroll system updates and transitions. This role is essential to maintaining smooth, reliable payroll operations during periods of high volume and rapid organizational growth.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, audit, and process bi-weekly payroll cycles
Manage hourly timecard review, corrections, and approvals (in 2026)
Support Paylocity configuration and workflow documentation
Partner with People Ops to maintain accurate employee records and job changes
Support 401(k) plan transition to Empower, including data validation and contribution audits
Monitor payroll inbox and resolve employee inquiries
Reconcile payroll accounts and assist with error resolution
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Prepare journal entries for payroll and bonus, including month-end accruals
Building and maintaining SOPs and process documentation
Improving and standardizing workflow and support files
Managing state and local tax filings (SUI, SIT, local taxes)
Monitoring and responding to tax agency notices
Supporting year-end tasks, including W-2 preparation, reconciliations, and corrections
Partnering with Legal on employment agreements and contractor classifications
Requirements:
2–6 years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment
Experience with Paylocity strongly preferred
Understanding of hourly workforce timekeeping and compliance rules
Familiarity with 401(k) plan administration
Strong audit, documentation, and reconciliation skills
Ability to work independently with tight deadlines
Results:

Location:
Las Vegas, Nevada (Hybrid is preferred)
Also open to fully remote but must be located in either of the following states: CA, OR, UT

Compensation:
$65,000 - 90,000 annual salary
