ABOUT THE ROLE
The Licensing Specialist is a fast-paced position supporting employed and contracted behavioral health practitioners in obtaining and maintaining their licensure and prescriptive authority. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, problem-solving individual with experience and interest in medical affairs, behavioral health, and telemedicine.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Performs provider state licensing for initial and renewal medical licenses
Research state requirements for licenses to ensure accuracy and completeness of information provided to avoid delays
Notify and assist providers in renewing expiring licenses to ensure all licenses are kept current based on business needs
Maintain high quality, timely and accurate processing of licensing applications
Proactive, consistent, and clear communication with business stake holders on license statuses
Monitor applications to ensure licenses are not delayed
Ensure all state requirements are met for a provider getting licensed in a new state
Ability to work with private information and maintain confidentiality
Other duties as assigned
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
High School Diploma, or equivalent
2-3 years’ experience with provider licensure, credentialing or enrollment standards
Multi State licensing experience highly preferred
Strong attention to detail, highly organized and task driven
Ability to interact with internal and external customers to drive desired results and outcomes
Flexible and adaptable to new processes and a fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing company
Highly analytical and detail-oriented with ability to demonstrate command of details
Work independently, meeting strict deadlines
Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to multitask
Proficiency in using the following software:
Microsoft 365 programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Comfortable working in a remote position, with a remote team

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The pay range for this role is $27 - $34 per hour. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position using current market data. The final offer will be determined based on an individual's skills, years of experience, education, capacity, licenses, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
