ABOUT THE ROLE 

We currently have an opportunity for a therapist (LMSW/LPC) with an active Michigan license for a 100% telepsychiatry position. This position is part time (16 hours/week) and will allow you to provide services remotely for patients accessing care from a community mental health center. Patient population is across the lifespan.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

  • Provide mental health services such as intake, therapy and counseling  

  • Provide video-based behavioral health assessment with patients  

  • Assist with de-escalation and stabilization  

  • Phone or video capture any readily available collateral information from other sources  

  • Analyze psychological/psychosocial aspects of individual interrelationships to gain understanding of an individual’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors  

  • Provide written recommendation on next level of assessment or care  

  • Maintain documentation within partner site’s EMR  

  • Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment for all  

  • Provide observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context  

  • Maintain all required certifications and licenses  

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 

  • Licensed in therapy: LPC, LMSW  

  • Clinicians must have active state license 

  • Professional licensure must enable independent practice  

  • 1-3 years of experience since obtaining unrestricted license  

  • Intermediate to advanced experience with technology  

  • Strong communication skills  

  • Established and updated CAQH profile strongly preferred  

 

 

POSITION LOGISTICS 

  • 100% remote position 

  • Required to have a private office space in home or elsewhere for confidentiality 

  • You will likely be required to work with Array to obtain additional state licensure and DEA licenses. We will support that process and cover the costs and/or reimburse for out-of-pocket expenses.
