Hands-on Platform Engineering Manager

Its mission is to develop innovative open-source solutions designed to anticipate cyber threats, identify security gaps, and strengthen organizational security posture.Filigran solutions are now trusted by over 6,000 public and private organizations worldwide.< The RoleWe're looking for a hands-on Platform Engineering Manager to join our team and help drive the delivery of new features while maintaining operational excellence.In this role, you will directly manage a team of 5 6 senior platform engineers and collaborate closely with them on improving and evolving our products and tooling deployment processes using automated / as code principles for different cloud targets, including Filigran s internally-managed cloud, and public cloud providers AWS, Azure, and GCP.You'll also contribute technically to these development activities and contribute structuring a growing team that begins to specialize its members on main technical topics, as part of a 16-person platform engineering team.This is a 50/50 split between technical contribution and team management ideal for an experienced engineer looking to grow into leadership while staying deeply connected to the tech.= Your ResponsibilitiesOwn products & tools deployment automation and ensure timely delivery of new featuresLead a team of 5 6 engineers: 1:1s, goal setting and evaluation, coaching, career growth, and overall team well-beingActively contribute to technical projects (hands-on!)Help define and maintain a culture of technical excellence and reliabilityFoster cross-team collaboration to ensure product deploy-ability> Who You ll Work WithYou will report to the VP of Platform Engineering and work closely with him, Platform Staff Engineers and other Engineering Managers to shape the roadmap and drive team prioritiesYou will collaborate with other engineering leaders and product teams to ensure product reliability and scalability, deployment of new features or new productsYou will be part of a collaborative, non-siloed team of ~16 platform engineers> Profile We re Looking For8+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps, or Platform EngineerPrevious success in managing or mentoring engineers, or strong motivation to evolve into a management roleProven experience in high-availability, production-grade environments as code (terraform, ansible) deployment in public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP, &)Solid expertise in public cloud infrastructures and KubernetesComfortable with remote-first, asynchronous workStrong sense of ownership, autonomy, and team spiritFull professional proficiency in English, based in Europe with maximum -2/+2h gap from CET timezoneBonus: experience in python software development<1 Why Join Filigran?
