The Role:
The Group Product Manager manages a group of PMs, accountable for their performance, development, and delivery against product-line goals. They own hiring and onboarding for the group, set delivery standards, and are the bridge between squad-level execution and product-line strategy.
You will set the vision for DailyPay Card and own the strategy that makes it the centerpiece of how workers manage and access their pay. Leading a team of PMs, you'll drive adoption of both the Card and On-Demand Pay, shaping the paycheck routing experience from the ground up while building the product muscle on your team to execute with rigor and speed.
You'll partner with stakeholders across the org and the external partners that power our Card offering, bringing alignment where complexity lives. This is a player-coach role: you're as comfortable rolling up your sleeves on discovery and roadmap decisions as you are developing the PMs around you and representing the Card business in leadership forums.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
Manage 1-2 PMs across multiple squads, accountable for their performance, development, and retention
Own hiring and onboarding for the PM group including defining roles and running hiring processes
Set product delivery and quality standards across the group, establishing clear expectations at each level
Translate product-line strategy into squad-level goals and ensure alignment across all PM teams
Partner with engineering directors and design managers to align resourcing and delivery across the group
Identify talent gaps and build development plans for PMs at multiple career stages
Drive a culture of data-driven decision making, user empathy, and continuous improvement across the group
Report product group health, risks, and progress to Product Leadership
What You Bring to DailyPay:
9+ years of PM experience including 2+ years managing a group or team of PMs
Demonstrated track record of developing PM talent across multiple career stages
Strong organizational leadership skills with ability to set standards across a multi-squad PM team
Experience driving alignment between product strategy and team-level execution at scale
Executive communication skills with ability to influence VP-level stakeholders
Deep knowledge in the card space, fintech, or payments
