About the role

At Tandem Health, we are building a future where health and technology move seamlessly together — and we are growing fast. As we prepare for significant growth, we are now looking for a Group Accounting Manager to own and scale our accounting processes.

You thrive in a hands-on role where you get to improve processes and make them smarter, more efficient and more reliable so that you can keep a broader focus and not being stuck in fundamentals. You use modern tools and invent smart automations and ways of working. You also work well with many different people from various countries as you will be our main contact for the external accounting firms.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead month-end and year-end closing in the Swedish entity and manage monthly group reporting from external accounting firms in other countries.

  • Prepare consolidated group financial statements on a monthly basis

  • Manage inter-company transactions and eliminations

  • Oversee transfer pricing structures and monthly invoicing

  • Manage revenue recognition together with the Finance Associate focusing on billing

  • Oversee AP and AR processes across entities

  • Be up to date with changing accounting regulations that affect the group

  • Manage relationships with external accounting firms, auditors and tax advisors

  • Financial statements and Annual report for the group and the Swedish parent company, but oversee statutory filings also in other jurisdictions

  • Partner with the Head of Finance around reporting, forecasting and process improvements

  • Make sure financial compliance and internal controls are built into the ways of working

  • Automate and simplify the accounting function as the company scale in volume and complexity

What you bring

  • A good mix of calm and excitement that makes you comfortable in a Finance team in a fast-changing start-up/scale-up environment

  • Experience from multi-entity or group environment

  • You have strong accounting knowledge and is also comfortable with consolidation and inter-company accounting

  • You are comfortable in various ERPs and eager to explore next generation accounting tools, somewhat tech-savvy.

  • Demonstrable experience in accounting, preferably in a Finance team

  • You will need to understand and read Swedish, preferably also speak it, as you will be in contact with Swedish accountants, auditors, authorities etc.

Bonus

  • Experience from SaaS companies and/or start/scale up

  • Experience from international multi-entity set ups

  • Prior experience from audit prep
