Overview

We are a recruiting firm partnering with a U.S.-based software company to hire a Financial Analyst with strong financial modeling experience focused on accounting logic and financial statement construction.

This is a hands-on modeling role. You will be building and analyzing financial models that reflect how financial statements are constructed under U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition, accruals, and timing differences.

Your work will contribute to training advanced AI systems to understand how financial data is structured, recognized, and flows across financial statements in real-world scenarios.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and analyze 3-statement financial models from scratch

  • Model revenue recognition, accruals, and timing differences under U.S. GAAP

  • Develop models that link income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement

  • Analyze deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, and working capital impacts

  • Identify inconsistencies between cash flow and reported earnings

  • Clearly explain accounting logic, assumptions, and financial statement relationships

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–8 years of experience in:

    • Technical Accounting (Big 4 or similar)

    • Corporate Accounting (with strong financial modeling exposure)

    • Financial Reporting / Controllership (with modeling experience)

  • Proven ability to build 3-statement financial models from scratch

  • Strong understanding of:

    • U.S. GAAP (required)

    • Revenue recognition and accrual accounting

    • Financial statement linkages and timing differences

  • Experience applying U.S. GAAP in practice (e.g., multinational companies, U.S. clients, or reporting environments)

  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets modeling skills

  • High attention to detail and analytical rigor

  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
