About the Role

RevOps Shop is hiring a Data Operations Specialist to partner with the Director of Data Systems in building and managing client data pipelines inside Clay — the core platform powering lead identification and enrichment for high-performing GTM teams.

You’ll be responsible for data hygiene, enrichment accuracy, and pipeline reliability across multiple client environments. This is a hands-on role focused on building scalable data operations that keep systems like Clay, HubSpot, Apollo, and Smartlead in sync and running flawlessly.

In the first 3–6 months, success means:

  • Achieving 95%+ enrichment completeness across client datasets

  • Reducing sync errors between Clay and HubSpot by at least 30%

  • Standardizing Clay schemas and QA processes across all accounts

Key Responsibilities

1. Clay Table Design & Maintenance

  • Build and manage client-specific Clay tables for accounts, contacts, and intent signals

  • Configure enrichment chains using Apollo, Clearbit, PeopleDataLabs, Leadmagic, and other APIs

  • Implement deduplication logic, ID linking, and field validation for data consistency

  • Maintain uniform schema and naming conventions across all projects

2. Data Enrichment & Quality Assurance

  • Run and QA enrichment batches for large datasets (50k–200k+ records)

  • Identify and correct anomalies (e.g., invalid emails, broken LinkedIn URLs, mismatched domains)

  • Create repeatable QA workflows to improve accuracy and reduce enrichment costs

  • Handle CSV imports/exports, joins, and field mapping between systems

3. Data Operations & Sync Integrity

  • Ensure alignment across Clay → HubSpot → Apollo → Smartlead

  • Manage API tokens, troubleshoot sync errors, and optimize webhook triggers

  • Create dashboards to monitor data freshness, enrichment completion, and sync success rates

  • Collaborate with engineering to test and improve Clay-to-HubSpot automations

4. Documentation & Standardization

  • Develop and maintain documentation for enrichment workflows, schemas, and naming standards

  • Contribute to the RevOps Shop DataOps Playbook for consistent client onboarding

  • Support internal training for new team members on enrichment best practices

Requirements

  • C2 English required

  • Proven experience with Clay (required)

  • Strong knowledge of HubSpot, Google Sheets/Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, regex)

  • Familiarity with data enrichment APIs (Apollo, Clearbit, Dropcontact, PeopleDataLabs)

  • Skilled in managing large datasets (100k+ rows) and performing QA at scale

  • Comfortable with API connectors, CSV transformations, and webhook integrations

  • Excellent written and spoken English (C1 or higher)

  • Based in a LATAM timezone (UTC-3 to UTC-6) for U.S. team alignment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Zapier, Make, Airtable, or BigQuery

  • Exposure to CRM data models and RevOps tooling

  • Prior experience in data operations, analytics, or revenue operations
