Full Job Description

Role:

The Creative Director for Acquisition.com is the architect and guardian of our brand. This is not simply a content job, it's a strategic operator role responsible for building and protecting one of the most influential business education brands in the world.

You will be the connective tissue between Acquisition.com’s business priorities and how they translate into content consumed by millions. Your mission is to scale Acquisition.com’s voice into billions of impressions per year while protecting our positioning rather than diluting it.

This means owning the strategy, story, systems, and standards that fuel the $100M Brand → Advisory Practice → Portfolio flywheel. You’ll combine creative instinct with data discipline, leveraging both human talent and AI-enabled workflows to create content that educates, entertains, and compounds brand equity.

Responsibilities:

Brand Stewardship & Positioning

  • Protect and evolve Acquisition.com’s positioning as an investor and builder, not just a content creator or some guru.

  • Ensure all outputs reinforce the frame of “above the game,” differentiating Acquisition.com from gurus or generic online educators and showcase Acquisition.com’s deep skill, unique insights, and accomplishments

  • Create, update, and enforce brand guidelines for tone, visuals, and messaging across all platforms.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate brand risks (e.g., misaligned collaborations, compliance oversights, overexposure).

Creative Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own a rolling 12 month brand content roadmap aligned with major launches (books, lead magnets, PR pushes, partnerships).

  • Balance evergreen business education with high-velocity trend-based content to maximize reach and relevance. Your job is to determine the intersection between ‘whats cool’ and whats on brand for Acquisition.com.

  • Drive ideation and creative direction across formats (long-form, short-form, podcasts, livestreams, speaking clips, documentaries, campaign ads) by providing fast feedback to editors, strategists and writers.

  • Develop and enforce creative playbooks for titles, thumbnails, hooks, and editing standards updated quarterly to reflect platform trends.

Systems, AI & Data

  • Work with the tech team to embed AI and automation into the content lifecycle (idea sourcing, script drafting, editing support, analytics) to scale volume and quality.

  • Lead quarterly “content reviews” to identify outlier performance and codify repeatable lessons going into the next quarter.

Content Production & Execution

  • Oversee pre-production planning and run-of-show for all film days.

  • Provide final “brand pass” on all flagship content (YouTube, Shorts, high-stakes posts, collaborations).

  • Translate top-performing content across platforms to maximize usage (e.g., turn a YouTube video into a LinkedIn carousel, a viral tweet into a Shorts series).

  • Ensure publishing cadence goals are hit across all platforms with no dips in quality.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to integrate Acquisition.com’s brand into campaigns, launches, ads, testimonials, and funnels.

  • Work with PR and portfolio teams to amplify portfolio wins, investment activity, and book launches through Acquisition.com’s brand channels.

People & Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the team creative squad (short-form, YouTube, design, strategy).

  • Build career paths and specialization lanes for editors, strategists, and producers to ensure growth and retention.

  • Run weekly and monthly check-ins, reinforcing accountability to MITs and holding the team to elite standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in creative direction, brand management, or content leadership (preferably in high-profile personal brand or media-driven businesses).

  • Demonstrated ability to scale a content brand across multiple platforms with measurable growth outcomes.

  • Strong instincts in storytelling, copywriting, and content hooks—balanced with analytical rigor.

  • Proven track record of managing and developing creative teams.

  • Fluency with AI and automation tools in media workflows.

  • Deep understanding of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.

  • Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels—switching between big-picture brand positioning and directing on set.

Results:

  • Acquisition.com’s brand is consistently positioned as an elite company.

  • Clear, reliable content roadmap tied to Acquisition.com launches and long-term brand milestones.

  • Efficient AI- and system-enabled workflows that increase volume and reduce key-man risk.

  • Consistent publishing cadence across YouTube and short-form, with measurable growth in reach, engagement, and subscriber base.

  • Media outputs that directly support Advisory Practice client acquisition, portfolio deal flow, and Acquisition.com’s reputation.
