Commercial Lines Account Manager

Stafford Leavitt, an affiliate of Leavitt Group, is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Dexter or Harrisonville, MO.
About the Role
This position works closely with the Commercial Lines Manager and Account Executives to support and service a book of commercial accounts. You will play a key role in the marketing, proposal, and servicing process while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare applications and submissions using underwriting information provided by Producers
Coordinate daily with Commercial Lines Account Managers and leadership on deadlines and priorities
Work with internal service teams to ensure timelines are met
Assist in marketing accounts and placing business with selected carriers
Follow up with insurance carriers for quotes and additional information
Prepare proposals and client presentation materials
Review submissions, quotes, and proposals for accuracy and consistency
Make updates based on client meetings and Producer direction
Assist with binding coverage and obtaining client signatures
Issue certificates of insurance
Review policies and endorsements for accuracy
Support invoicing and documentation processes
Qualifications
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
4+ years of commercial lines experience preferred
Experience with carrier rating systems
AMS360 experience preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
